Disabling/enabling javascriptYou can enable/disable Javascript. This is particularly useful for web developers testing how their webpages work under all conditions.
- Netscape Navigator 3: Options > Network Preferences. Click the Languages tab and then click the checkbox beside "Enable JavaScript."
- Netscape Communicator/Navigator 4: Edit > Preferences. Click on the Advanced section and then click the checkbox beside Enable JavaScript.
- Internet Explorer 3/4: View > Options. Click the Security tab and then click the checkbox beside "Run ActiveX scripts" near the bottom of the tab.
- Internet Explorer 6: Tools > Internet Options. Click the "Security" tab. From the list of zones, select the internet icon. Select the button near the bottom that reads "Custom Level". Scroll down to the item that reads "Active Scripting" and click "enable". Then OK your way out.
